The post-Olympic World Championships edition focuses on individual finals: the All-Around and the six apparatus finals. It also marks the end of the season for a majority of gymnasts.

– Oka Shinnosuke (JPN) failed to reiterate his Olympic success.
– China achieved a total of four medals, but Zhang Boheng again settled for silver, while Shi Cong did not reach the podium. As for Zou Jingyuan, it seems his lowest execution score is no longer 9.0 but 9.3…
– Great Britain and the United States each continued to demonstrate their competitive prowess by winning three medals each.
– The Russians are back, qualified for 6 finals and won one bronze.
– The Israeli delegation’s visas were revoked after Indonesia assessed that their safety could not be assured within the country, due to the current diplomatic relations between the two countries. The FIG took note.
– Several gymnasts expressed discontent with the arena equipment, specifically citing issues with the lighting, vault, mat color, and floor.

– Although the audience was supportive, attendance was limited, presenting challenges when events are held in regions with a small gymnastics fan base.
