Chinese, Russian and Japanese male gymnasts dominate

These are the rankings of male gymnasts who competed between 2017 and 2021; they include 4 competitions:
2017 World Championships
Montréal, Canada 🇨🇦
2018 World Championships
Doha, Qatar 🇶🇦
2019 World Championships
Stuttgart, Germany 🇩🇪
2020 Olympic Games
Tokyo, Japan 🇯🇵
53 gymnasts won at least one medal at these World Championships or Olympic Games.

In order to adequately evaluate the significance of each medal, a bonus system has been implemented. A bronze medal does not hold the same value as a gold medal, and the Olympic Games are esteemed as the preeminent event for any gymnast. Consequently, each medal possesses a distinct worth contingent upon the type of competition:

For example: a silver medal won on the Pommel Horse at Worlds is worth 2+1=3 points
A gold medal in the All Around at the Olympics is worth 3+2+2=7 points
