Men’s Floor Exercise at the Olympics: Main Contenders

Who should be observed in the Men’s Floor Exercise at Paris Olympics? The three medalists from Tokyo will make their return, facing a challenge from a dozen other talented gymnasts.

Who’s back on Men’s Floor Exercise?

The three top finishers in the Men’s Floor Exercise at the Olympics in Tokyo, namely Artem Dolgopyat, Ray Zapata, and Xiao Ruoteng, have continued to achieve remarkable success in their respective gymnastics careers. Since then, Artem Dolgopyat has secured gold medals at the 2023 World Championships and the 2022 European Championships, in addition to a silver medal at the 2023 and 2024 Euros.

Ray Zapata has played a key role in bolstering the Spanish MAG team, which successfully secured a team spot for the upcoming Paris Games. Meanwhile, Xiao Ruoteng, following his performance in Tokyo where he captured three medals, contributed to the Chinese team’s gold medal victory at the most recent Asian Games.

South Korean gymnasts Ryu Sung-hyun and Kim Han-sol, both of whom competed in the Floor Exercise final in Tokyo, have also qualified for the Paris Games. Furthermore, a group of talented gymnasts in Floor Exercise are set to compete in Paris.
